Zirconium

Zirconium has excellent heat transfer properties and allows for efficient heat transfer. However, it has a negative reaction called Zircaloy hydriding, where zirconium and hydrogen combine for form zirconium hydride, embrittling reactor cladding and resulting in perforations.
